Japan Market is kicking off 2025 with its first event of the year, bringing a taste of Japan to UBC Robson Square on March 1-2. This spring edition will celebrate the season and Girls’ Day, offering a weekend filled with shopping, cultural performances, and delicious eats.

With over 60 vendors, the market will showcase a wide variety of Japanese-style goods, including handcrafted accessories, traditional art, stylish apparel, and home décor. Shoppers can also explore unique items such as ceramics, stationery, and kawaii-inspired gifts.
Food lovers can treat themselves to authentic Japanese snacks and meals, including mochi, takoyaki, bento boxes, matcha desserts, and more. Whether you’re craving something sweet or savoury, there will be plenty of options to enjoy.

Beyond shopping, attendees can enjoy live cultural entertainment throughout the weekend. Featured performances and demonstrations include:
