Harvest Full Moon Celebration Richmond 2019

Vancouver events

Richmond residents and visitors of all ages are invited to participate in the City Centre Community Association’s fifth annual Harvest Full Moon Celebration.

It takes place this year on Saturday, September 14th, 2019.

The Harvest Full Moon is a time to give thanks, exchange stories, and reminisce about past experiences.

The full moon in autumn is the most beautiful moon of the year. It is called the ‘Harvest Full Moon’ as it coincides with farmers and fishers’ harvesting times around the world, as well as throughout history.

Festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. and will feature lantern making, art, moon cakes, tea, live music and more.

In addition, admission is free.

Over in West Richmond, another lantern festival is also going to be hold this October.
