Comedian Gerry Dee has announced plans to embark on a new tour, 20 Years of Stand Up, with not one but four shows in B.C.
“Mr. D” has been making audiences laugh for two decades, and will mark the occasion with a show dedicated to his trademark humour about marriage, fatherhood, and his years as a teacher.
The tour will visit 14 cities across Canada beginning March 1. Among the 14, 4 stops on Gerry Dee’s tour will be in B.C. at the following locations:
- Kelowna – March 30, 2019 – Kelowna Community Theatre
- Victoria – April 4, 2019 – Royal Theatre
- Surrey – April 5, 2019 – Bell Performing Arts Centre
- Vancouver – April 6, 2019 – The Centre in Vancouver
“Stand up is where it all started for me 20 years ago,” said Dee. “I’m very grateful to the fans who have supported me along the way and I look forward to celebrating this milestone with them on the tour.”
The tour will follow the final season of the award-winning sitcom Mr D., created, written by and starring Dee. The show will take its final bow on December 19, 2018.
