There is a stunning flower farm in Abbotsford that is drumming up a lot of attention and Instagram-worthy pictures.
Lakeland Flowers is a U-Pick Flower Farm that grows millions of millions of daffodils, tulips, peonies, and sunflowers. Over the massive 35-acres of land you can find over 5 million tulips.
With Mother’s day around the corner, this could be the perfect last minute gift. Grab some fresh air and a beautiful local bouquet before all the Tulips are gone for the season.
U-Pick Farm Details
You can visit this flower farm and its tulips daily, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. as a U-Pick farm.
There are designated places on the field where visitors can pick the flowers, and directions on how to do so. The flowers are chosen based on how tall they stand and also on what people like to look at.
There are also early, mid and late-season varieties so when someone visits there are options that you can either pick and take home, or simply admire.
Owner of the family farm, Nick Warmerdam has run the farm for 47 years. His daughter, Alexis owned the Bloom Abbotsford Tulip Festival for several years before it left the Fraser Valley area.
