Free Family Fun At Surrey Art Gallery

This Sunday, bring your family down to the Surrey Art Gallery and create your own art inspired by the Many Visions, Many Versions: Art From Indigenous Communities in India, the current exhibit featured at gallery right now.

The exhibit is a collection of 90 paintings from 24 different artists, representing the four main traditions from South Asia: Mithila region of Bihar, the narrative scroll painters of West Bengal, and the Gond and Warli communities of Central India.

You can create your own masterpiece scroll, mastering the West Bengal scrolls hanging in the gallery. Not only that, but you can create your own wearable Henna design and create a clay animal!

Interactive performances will be on site at 1PM and 2:30PM. Mohamed Assani and John Oliver will embark the audience on a ‘Tune Trip’, performing a musical journey around the world.
