Carnaval del Sol is coming back this summer! The biggest Latin American festival in the Pacific Northwest is returning to Vancouver on Saturday, July 6th, 2019.
This 2-day festival celebrates Latin American culture with live music, art, dance, sports, and poetry. Not to mention, for 2019, more than 450+ artists from different Latin American countries will be at Carnaval del Sol.
Attendees will also discover Native Canadian and Latin American visual art, traditional folk dances from various countries, arts and crafts displays, dancing and culinary lessons, and a Latin American inspired fashion show.
The festival is the finale to the eight day long Latin American Week Festival. The festival acts as a bridge between Vancouver’s both Latin and other communities, using arts and culture as universal languages.
Presented by Latincouver, admission is only $2. Kids under 12 and seniors over 60 are free. Furthermore, visitors can pay by cash, debit, or credit in person or online.
