Coquitlam is the latest city getting ready for a massive Canada Day celebration.

Coquitlam’s Canada Day festivities take place on Sunday, July 1st at Town Centre Park. From 12:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., this FREE event will have a diverse lineup of live entertainment, delicious ethnic and regional food, multicultural activities, and fireworks.

Coquitlam Canada Day Activities

Adventure Park (12 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)

Take part in all day fun and excitement at the Adventure Park! Try your luck with The Eliminator, Hungry Hippo Chow Down or rise to new heights with a ​24ft climbing wall. There’s something for everyone! You’ll find:

Welcome to the Drive! Discover a variety of community businesses and organizations from around Coquitlam. ​Take in a dance demo, shop for something new, and meet your provincial and federal government representatives. There is always something happening on Community Drive!

Coquitlam Lane (12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)

Step behind the scenes and connect with your city at Coquitlam Lane! Learn more about Coquitlam’s history, pick up your own Canada Day flag, pose for a photo with a Councillor—or maybe even the Mayor, and share your thoughts on the “I Love Canada” boards. There is fun for everyone at Coquitlam Lane!

Explore a world of art, culture and fun in the Meadow! Get crafty with hands-on activities like yarn bombing or stop by the henna booth to adorn your body with beautiful, temporary designs. Learn about the rich cultures of our community through special displays, art exhibitions and hands-on activities.

Vehicle Showcase (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

See what’s around the corner at the Vehicle Showcase! Grab a book at the Coquitlam Public Library bus, learn some history at the Transit Museum or check out our Emergency Services vehicles. There is plenty to see and do including:
