Burnaby Village Museum is Being Transformed into an Eerie Experience This Month

Take a Halloween themed stroll through to the past at Burnaby Village Museum.

A new event is taking place and it will be like no other in Metro Vancouver. With state-of-the-art lighting, projections, soundscapes and special effects, Burnaby Village Museum is transforming. There will be ‘Eerie Illusions’ entertaining and spooking guests of all ages.

The event starts on October 22, 2021. However tickets are already on sale and expected to sell out.

Burnaby Village Museum is creating this unique experience as a fun twist to Halloween. This year they will share the tale of two children who accidentally unleash a series of enchantments throughout the village.

The entire village is being transformed into a magical world full of unruly spirits, chatty crows, invisible bands, photo-bombing ghouls, and other incredible sights and sounds. This is a truly a Halloween enchanted adventure.

Eerie Illusions is a self-guided tour, completely outdoors, and open at specific dates and times:

  • October 22-23: 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • October 24-28: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • October 29-31: 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Take-out food will be available, as well as the  on-site café, and food trucks selling candy apples, popcorn and more. Tickets have started selling so it is recommended to grab them early online before they sell out.

Note: Burnaby Village Museum is also hosting a Pro-D Halloween adventure for kids that parents can take advantage of.

Admission: Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children (2-12), Free for those under 2
