Bob Ross Art Exhibit 2020

Bob Ross

Canada is getting its first Bob Ross exhibit this year and while it is happy, it’s no little accident.

Penticton Art Gallery is hosting the exhibit, Bob Ross: Happy Little Accidents, now until September 13th. The exhibit features a selection of Ross’s work during his time on the TV show, The Joy Of Painting.

The show ran from 1983-1994, where Ross taught techniques for landscape painting and often featured “happy little trees” in his work.

Admission to the gallery is by donation. According to the release, the exhibit looks at nostalgia, art history and pop culture.

For things to do in Vancouver, the Burnaby Village Museum is reopening this week, while Playland has opened as well.
