Dr. Bee’s Honeyland Canada will be hosting their 8th annual Bees and Blueberries Festival!

It’s a family friendly festival where children and adults will enjoy fun activities such as:

  • Blueberry pie eating contest
  • Face painting
  • Live performances
  • Pony rides
  • Balloon animals
  • Live bee beard and more!

During the event, not only will you get to enjoy a variety of fun activities, but also learn about honey bees. Their goal is to share knowledge of bees to educate the community about why bees are so important and why we should be taking care of the environment.

Dr. Ron Lin, aka Dr. Bee, is the founder and in-house bee expert at Dr. Bee Honeyland Canada. Dr. Ron Lin graduated from Simon Fraser University with a PhD in Apiology (study of honey bees). In 1996, Dr. Bee opened its doors in Pitt Meadows, and over the last 20 years Dr.Bee has become a well-established beekeeping operation in the lower mainland.
