If you loved James Cameron’s AVATAR, prepare yourself…
The latest Cirque du Soleil show, TORUK – The First Flight, will let you relive the beautiful motion picture, acrobatic style.
Directors Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon bring AVATAR back to life by transporting you to the magical world of Pandora.
The show promises to stun you with jaw-dropping visuals, puppetry and stagecraft. Pair all that with a sensational score and compelling storyline, and you’ll feel at home in the immersive performance.
Just like in the movie, Cirque performers will “make the bond” while traveling with a Na’vi storyteller who narrates the entire show.
TORUK – The First Flight, takes you back thousands of years, before the story depicted in AVATAR, and before humans ever roamed Pandora.
The story begins with Ralu and Entu, two Omaticaya boys, who are on a quest to save the sacred Tree of Souls from a natural catastrophe. The boys learn that Toruk can help them, so they set out to the Floating Mountains to find the beautiful creature that rules the skies of Pandora.
Can one of the boys ride Toruk for the first time to save the Na’vi people from a terrible fate?
