Aurora Winter Festival - Metro Vancouver Christmas Events

The Aurora Winter Festival is returning to Vancouver, and it’s bigger and better than ever. Literally.

Last year, the event was held at Concord Pacific Place and this year it’ll transform the PNE fairgrounds (Hastings Park) into a winter wonderland.

Translation: This year’s festival will be four times the larger!

The family-friendly festival debuted in Vancouver last holiday season and offers elements inspired by the North Pole.

That includes mystical characters, who you will meet in four separate worlds on the grounds, as well as captivating light displays and an ice-skating rink on a frozen river.

Don’t forget to stop by Santa’s workshop and have a whirl on the carnival rides – because it is at the PNE, after all.

Being Western Canada’s largest winter festival, attendees will discover a beautiful skating rink, a tube park with a 200 ft. long slide, massive light displays, and also plenty of mystical characters.

In addition, other attractions to look forward to include:

  • Santa’s Storytime
  • 40 market vendors and 16 food vendors
  • 7 amusement rides and 5 interactive games

Excited? We bet you are!
