Returning for their 8th year, it’s 5X Fest! Celebrating 20 spectacular years of Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration (VIBC), this giant party guarantees to bring vibrant festivities to Metro Vancouver with Panjabi music, art, and culture.
5X FEST
5X Fest hosts over 5,000 attendees each year, and will be bringing the party to Vancouver and Surrey from June 12 to June 14, 2025. While the event began as a way to celebrate bhangra, it has since evolved into something much bigger. The organizers describe it as “a global movement rooted in community, creativity, and cultural pride.”
For this year’s festivities, guests can expect a “bold new stage layout”. There will be plenty of fantastic Panjabi performing here, so you won’t be short of amazing music to party to.
The highlight of 5X Fest, the 5X Blockparty, will be on June 14, 2025, hosted in the Surrey Civic Plaza. The organizers describe it as “the ultimate celebration of Panjabi music and culture.” And as for the artists you can see:

There will also be a 5X Art Party hosted at Beaumont Studios on June 13, 2025. This event will feature a “vibrant celebration of art and culture curated by visionary talents.” You can enjoy the works of emerging South Asian artists and creators with “eclectic live music” to heighten the atmosphere.
TICKET INFORMATION
If you are over 19, then you can get an All Access Pass for $150 (plus tax). This includes access to signature events such as the 5X Art Party, the Blockparty VIP section, and the Afterparty, which is hosted at a secret location! You will also receive a complimentary 5X t-shirt.
But, if you just want to attend the Blockparty, then there’s no need to worry about costs. As long as you RSVP ahead of time, you can attend for totally free.
And as for the Art Party, it’s $40 (plus tax) for General Admission. For students, you can get them for only $25 (plus tax) with a valid ID.
