Comedy | JFL NorthWest Festival

Exhibition | The Fabric of Our Land
The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC with the Musqueam Indian Band present the remarkable new exhibition The Fabric of Our Land: Salish Weaving. It’s on display from Sunday, November 19th – Sunday, April 15th, 2018. Dance | Vancity International SBK Festival
The Vancity International SBK (Salsa Bachata Kizomba) Festival is back in town from Friday, March 2nd – Sunday, March 4th, 2018.
Over 100+ performers, multi-time world champions, so-you-think-you-can-dance choreographers and international and world renowned instructors from around the globe will share their dance techniques with attendees, treat you to live performances every night and maybe even steal you away for a dance.

South Asian Fashion Week was created to represent the intersection of East meets West – to discover and inspire through the fine balance of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary in womenswear, menswear and accessories. It takes place at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver from Friday, March 2nd – Sunday, March 4th, 2018.

Lanterns | Lanterns In The Garden
Guests will go back in time to enjoy an authentic and traditional Yuanxiao festival. It marks the end of the New Year celebrations and also the first full moon day in the Lunar Calendar, which symbolizes the coming spring. The festival started since more than 2000 years ago and had become a festival with significance. This is the last weekend for the festival.
Fundraiser | SFU Relay For Life
Relay For Life is a fun team event that aims to celebrate cancer survivors, provide hope to those currently fighting cancer, and honour loved ones who lost their lives as a result of cancer. At Relay For Life, they walk to raise funds that go towards world-class research, services for patients and their families, cancer prevention initiatives and advocacy on important cancer-related issues. Catch this event at SFU from 4:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Comedy | Tom Papa
With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio, podcasts as well as on the live stage. He performs at Yuk Yuk’s this weekend on Friday night. Tickets are $30.
Hockey | Vancouver Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks host the Nashville Predators at Rogers Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Performance | Rollin’ Trainwreck
The Flamingo presents Rollin’ Trainwreck live at Ocean Park Hall. This event is a fundraiser for Penmar Community Arts Society.
The Rollin’ Trainwreck is a bluegrass-country-rock inspired trio consisting of Jesse Burch, Philip Puxley and Phil Bell. They live to play music and they don’t get their name for nothin’!
Tour | Ghostly Vancouver Tours
