Taking place from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., join the entire South Asian community and partake in the walk of life. It’s an amazing opportunity to see metro Vancouver’s diversity and learn about our neighbours.

Canada’s epic annual Beer Run is back in Vancouver on April 15th, with a whole new set of craft breweries. Bring your most far-out costumes, taste buds, and get ready to run.

What is it? Well, it’s a 8.9 kilometre run that’s designed to be more fun than run. Participants gather in groups as large as 75 people, and head out in waves from to five different breweries, with a little bit of down time in between each brewery to fully enjoy each beer.

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC welcomes Cuban musical ambassadors and charismatic artists Daymé Arocena and Roberto Fonseca on Sunday, April 15th, 2018.

This double-bill evoking a hypnotic Havana night begins with the soaring young musical force Arocena. Since the launch of her sophomore album Cubafonia (2017), Arocena has won praise from critics enchanted by her original fusion of jazz, rumba and Cuban neo-soul.
