Riding | Shred For The Cause
Every Monday from January 22nd to March 26th, ladies pay a $15 donation to ski and ride from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. $5 from every lift ticket will be going to The Bloom Group. Normal prices range from $18 – $33.
Exhibition | The Fabric of Our Land
The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC with the Musqueam Indian Band present the remarkable new exhibition The Fabric of Our Land: Salish Weaving. It’s on display from Sunday, November 19th – Sunday, April 15th, 2018. Curated by Susan Rowley in collaboration with Salish weavers, this exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the past 200 years of Salish wool weaving.
Skating | Robson Square Ice Rink

The Robson Square Ice Rink is open this weekend and will host free skates daily until Wednesday, February 28th, 2018. Skating is free for all ages. Those who own their own skates are welcome to use them. Skate rentals are $4, and rentals end 30 minutes before closing time. Furthermore, helmets are mandatory for children 12 and under. Robson Square Ice Rink will offer rentals and accept cash only.
Music | Monday Eve Jazz
Enjoy an intimate evening of flute/piano stylings with guest artist Attila Fias (piano/keys) from Toronto with Vancouver’s Jeremy Price (flutes).
Movie | Brown Girl Begins
Brown Girl Begins is an afrofuturist feature film about a young black woman who is trapped in a world forced upon her. Ti-Jeanne, a reluctant priestess, must resurrect Caribbean spirits and survive the possession ritual that killed her mother, or her people will die. See it this week at Vancity Theatre.

Lanterns | Lanterns In The Garden

Guests will go back in time to enjoy an authentic and traditional Yuanxiao festival. It marks the end of the New Year celebrations and also the first full moon day in the Lunar Calendar, which symbolizes the coming spring. The festival started since more than 2000 years ago and had become a festival with significance.
Concert | Winter Jazz
Coastal Jazz and Granville Island present a free concert series featuring seven local and international groups. They include Scandinavian jazz quintet Atomic, bassist Jodi Proznick, singer-songwriter Marin Patenaude, roots rockers the Sumner Brothers, vocalist Alicia Hansen, Thelonious Monk-inspired jazzers Monk’s Music, and indie fave Jasper Sloan Yip. It all takes place from Friday, February 23rd – Sunday, February 25th, 2018.
