Due to popular demand, the Vancouver Maritime Museum has brought back Storytime Saturdays again but this time, it’s in person! Join the Vancouver Maritime Museum every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for story time in the VMM’s new Children’s Gallery.
During these story time sessions, you and little ones will listen to stories about Inuit culture and beliefs and about the peoples and sea life found in and around Burrard Inlet/the waterways of the West Coast. Kids will also learn about fun maritime topics such as the sea animals, ocean ecosystems, and all the cool boats and ships they can see out at sea! After the story reading, children will get to do a drawing activity! Drawing will be simple step by step sketches of characters and/or objects featured in that day’s storytime session.
