Daniel Sedin

We all knew this moment was coming.

The Vancouver Canucks beat the Nashville Predators on the road 5-3 Thursday night and in the process, Daniel Sedin surpassed 1,000 career points.

It was also twin brother Henrik Sedin who assisted on Daniel’s third period goal that gave him 1000 points.

“It’d be great for it to be a goal and it to be a huge win for us” said Daniel Sedin. “Both happened today”.

He now has 1001 career NHL points. Not to mention, he and Henrik are the first pair of brothers to both reach 1,000 points each in the NHL.

Anders Nilsson made 29 saves for the win.
