Daniel Sedin Said To Recover By Playoffs

On March 21, Canucks forward Daniel Sedin suffered a concussion after being elbowed in the face by the Chicago Blackhawks’ defence man Duncan Keith. Keith was suspended 5 games for his actions, while Canucks fans are left angry and anxious about whether D. Sedin will be able to play in the soon upcoming Stanley Cup Playoffs.

According to Canucks general manager Mike Gillis, Daniel should be able to start off the playoff season with the rest of his teammates! Sedin was last season’s National Hockey League scoring champion, and has the second most points on the team with an impressive 67! He is definitely a key asset to the Canucks and Vancouver, and it is assuring to know that by the looks of his recoveries that he will be able to play in the playoffs this year.

The Canucks do not allow their injured players to speak about their injuries to the media, but we will take Gillis’ word for it and hope that we will see Daniel Sedin on the ice very soon!
