British Columbia’s fire crews are battling a blaze reported to be at least one-hectare in size in Delta’s Burns Bog near Highway 17.
The fire is currently burning on the far west side of Burns Bog near 76th and 80th Streets.
According to Donna MacPherson of the BC Wildfire Services, at least 26 firefighters are on the scene, along with airtankers, a helicopter, and two ambulances.
There is no official statement on what caused the fire, but the blaze can be seen across several municipalities in the lower mainland.
