With the NHL lockout reaching its 75th day this Wednesday, fans aren’t the only ones getting frustrated.
Vancouver Canucks starting goalie, Cory Schneider has become the third Canuck to leave for Europe and play there while the lockout continues.
Schneider signed a deal with HC Ambri-Piotta of the Swiss Elite League. This contract expires on December 31.
When it comes to the lockout, Schneider believes that both sides need to step up when it comes to reaching a new collective bargaining agreement.
Schneider has surpassed Roberto Luongo as the Canucks start goaltender. Last season, Schneider posted a record of 10-8-1 in 33 games played, and has a .937 save percentage and 1.96 goals-against average!
