The April YVR Foodies Meetup will be at East is East in Kitsilano with Adam Hart, the founder of The Power of Food, creator of Ra Energy, and author of The Power of Food, as our keynote speaker. The featured blogger for April will be Whitney Hong from Macarons and Mischief. There will also be talented performer Timothy Hewitt & Angie Faith who will be performing during the event!
The YVR Foodies Meetup will take place Sunday April 6th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at East is East. Tickets for the event are $20.
Quick bios on the guests of honor:
Adam Hart (Keynote Speaker)
Adam Hart is a Living Food Champion, Best Selling Author, Professional Speaker and creator of Ra Energy Foods. He shares the power of eating plant-based, living foods to awaken an abundance of energy and happiness, without giving up your favourite foods.
Timothy Hewitt (Performer)
A one man band that will surprise and delight you – Tim’s use of looping technology makes for a solo show that you have to hear to believe. Without backing tracks, autotune or samples, Tim sounds like an entire band, all live and ‘on the fly’. Audience members are constantly asking ‘How does he do that?’. You will be amazed what one voice and one guitar can sound like.
Whitney Hong (Featured Blogger)
Whitney runs a popular lifestyle blog called Macarons and Mischief where she covers topics such as beauty, fashion, food, and anything else she finds interesting, which is a lot of things. Since Whitney is a local expert in the area of macarons, she will be sharing about some of the best places to buy macarons in Vancouver.
Angie Faith (Performer)
Hailing from Richmond B.C. Angie Faith has immersed herself in the roots of the Vancouver music scene. This singer / songwriter is very passionate about music and is currently in the studio recording her first full length album of all original music.
