On April 13th, Surrey will host Party for the Planet; the largest Earth Day celebration in British Columbia.
The free event will take place at Surrey Civic Plaza on Saturday, April 13th running from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The day will be loaded with fun attractions including an adventure zone, and live music performances. In addition, the celebration will feature a Live Green World, offering environmental workshops, a sustainable marketplace, and multiple local vendors.
No festival is complete without street food, and fortunately for attendees, Party for the Planet will have plenty of delicious options on site:
- Bobbie’s Food Truck – East Indian fusion food (V, VE, GF)
- El Coroto – Venezuelan / Latin American arepas (V, VE, GF)
- J&J Concessions – Cotton Candy (V, GF)
- Japadog – Japanese style hot dogs
- Mr Bannock – Indigenous cuisine (V)
- Sajetarian – Middle Eastern flatbreads and dishes (V, VE, GF)
- Taco N Todo – Real and fresh Mexican food (GF)
- Teriyaki Express – Teriyaki, tokoyaki and tempura
- Melt Town – Best grilled cheese and poutine (V)
- Mini Donuts – Hot and fresh donuts (V)
- Triple O’s – Burgers, fries and milkshakes (V)
- Wings – Wings, Kennebec fries, pulled pork sandwiches
