While most College Basketball fans were focused on the NCAA Finals, a female basketball player from British Columbia was busy making a name for herself.
Cassandra Brown, a 22-year old female Basketball player originally from Vernon, B.C. competed in the recent NCAA battle of the sexes tournament last week. Upon advancing to the finals, she faced Kevin Pangos, a Canadian college basketball player originally from Ontario. This was ironically the first time two Canadians went head to head in the American tournament.
Kevin Pangos went first and drilled 20 3-pointers in a minute. Cassandra Brown followed by hitting 21 clutch 3-pointers and beating her male counterpart.
