John Tortorella’s Vancouver run may come to a quick end tomorrow morning.
According to TSN Broadcaster Farhan Lalji (who Torts ironically called an a-hole earlier this month) and multiple other sources, the Vancouver Canucks are expected to fire Torts tomorrow morning.
To many, this comes as no surprise. In January, Torts was suspended 15 games when he tried to barge into the Calgary Flames locker room and potentially start an altercation.
After just one season as the Canucks bench boss, the team finished with an upsetting 36-35-11 record and missed the playoffs. This also led to GM and ex-President Mike Gillis being fired.
