Caliburger Grand Opening Date for Burnaby Location Revealed

While many people were sad to see the Vancouver location close, the opening date for the new Caliburger has been confirmed.

The eatery will open its doors at Simon Fraser University at 8901 Cornerstone Mews in Burnaby on February 15th, sources tell 604 Now (now confirmed by Caliburger).

Known as the doppelgänger to the American fast-food favourite, In-N-Out Burger, the joint is known for fries drowning in sauce. For example, the Cali-style fries come smothered in melted cheese, grilled sweet onions and their signature sauce – yum!

Caliburger Closed in Vancouver

The first CaliBurger location opened at 830 Thurlow Street in 2016 before closing its doors in December 2017.

The California-style eatery specializes in chicken sandwiches, Portobello mushroom burgers, the classic Cali Double and boozy milkshakes. These delicious hand-spun milkshakes are available in classic flavours: chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Of course, any visit requires a taste of the aforementioned Cali-style fries, as they are truly a delectable anomaly.

The date opening date for the Surrey Caliburger at 10330 – 152 Street will be sometime in the summer.
