Surrey residents may see more organized beer gardens at annual or regular civic events across city parks as early as this summer.
The City of Surrey has opened applications for “bona fide non-profit community clubs, groups, associations or societies” who want to use beer garden profits for charity or public facility improvement.
Six designated communities will have limits on the number and locations of beer gardens which could be held at events like sporting tournaments and farmers markets:
- City Centre/ Whalley
- South Surrey
