One BC man has found himself on the wrong side of the law after a bizarre incident at Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto this past weekend.

In a video posted on YouTube, a man is seen swimming within a massive tank alongside sharks and other sea creatures. Just when the man is about to exit the water, he decides to dives backwards into the same tank with the sharks.

Numerous bystanders were able to capture the incident on video and give us a better idea of how bizarre this incident was.
Aquarium security eventually escorted the naked man out of the facility after he got out of the tank.
Some witnesses are suggesting that the man may have had a bit to drink before the incident. This explanation seems logical considering there was a Friday Night Jazz event at the aquarium that served cocktails as guests roamed around.

Current Investigation
Police have identified the aquarium swimmer as David Weaver, 37, of Nelson, B.C. He is currently wanted for assault causing bodily harm.
Before his incident at the aquarium, Weaver assaulted someone outside the Medieval Times attraction at Exhibition Place. The incident took place at around 8:00 p.m. ET Friday and the victim suffered serious injuries.
Police believe he is driving a green Dodge Caravan with the B.C. licence plate PL120G. Weaver is described as:
- five-foot, 10 inches tall
- Approximately 220 pounds, with a heavy build.
- Shaved head
- Goatee
- Missing teeth
