A Barcelona Nightclub bouncer was shot in the leg last night, just outside the club on Granville Street. Around 1am a argument broke out followed by shots being fired as bystanders and police rushed to the scene. A man from Alberta whose name has not yet been released, was the suspect behind the incident. He is known to police and is in custody at the moment and looking at numerous weapon and assault-related charges.
The bouncer, 39 was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital immediately with non-life threatening injuries.
