Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, was in Vancouver on Tuesday for his third Canadian stop of the “A Conversation with President Barack Obama” tour.

Speaking in front of a sold-out crowd at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Barack Obama touched on a number of issues.

Likewise, the event was opened up with a performance by Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan.

All smiles and eager to start, the talk with the former president was moderated by Iain Black, President and CEO of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.

Throughout his talk, Obama touched on principled diplomacy and how Canadians can create a more equal society.

He also discussed Canada’s current relationship with the United States, what issues are plaguing the Trump administration and his beautiful wife and daughters.

Looking ahead, former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, is making her highly-anticipated return to Vancouver this month.
