B.C. Model From Langley Charged With Smuggling In The U.S.

A Canadian model and a former B.C. real estate agent and now hopeful Playboy model has been arrested in the United States after allegedly trying to smuggle drugs onto a plane.

Krista Boseley of Langley, and Giles Lapointe of Pitt Meadows are both charged with conspiracy to distribute ecstasy.

American officials greeted the two individuals when their private plane landed at the John Wayne Airport in Orange Country. Officials state they received a tip that the plane and its flyers may be involved in smuggling.

According to an affidavit filed in the U.S. District Court, both Boseley and Lapointe, who owns the plane, agreed to be searched. Within thirty minutes officials reportedly founded 50,000 ecstasy pills, 40 kilograms of MDMA powder and approximately $28,000 in cash. The cash was claimed to be from casino winnings in Las Vegas.

A separate court file also shows that Boseley was stopped in September of 2013 by L.A. police who found her carrying $40,000.
