Kitsilano, or “Kits” as it’s more commonly known to locals, is all about yoga, biking, organic eateries and yes of course, the beach.
Kits is the place to be—especially during the summer months, and it’s a very popular tourist attraction. Let’s take a look at what the neighbourhood used to look like years ago.

This is what Kits Beach looked like back in 1915. Today, it is one of the top city beaches in the world. It’s the perfect place for getting in a workout—whether that’s swimming, yoga, or beach volleyball.

This photo shows the popular Kitsilano swimming pool in 1930, it was even busy back then!
