If you’ve ever been caught and given a UBC parking ticket, rest assured, there’s at least one Vancouver Canucks player who knows how you feel.
On the verge of a lockout, Canucks players united at the Thunder Bird Arena to practice and keep the team chemistry alive despite the the circumstances in the air. Prior to the Canucks practice at UBC, Kevin Bieksa found a $30 ticket waiting for him on his BMW X5 due to his parking meter running-out.
Bieksa now has until the end of the month to pay the $30 ticket before it doubles to $60 unless he decides to dispute it.
As for the mean campus cop, where’s the respect? don’t you know these guys have no income?
Update: One of our twitter followers pointed out that Michael Dickerson from the Vancouver Grizzlies also received a ticket last year while practicing with the UBC mens basketball team..
