There was a memorial held today at the Peace Arch border in honor of all the lives lost during 9/11 2001. People gathered on both the sides of the border including firefighters, police and EMT’s to pay tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Representatives from both sides of the border spoke not only of the innocent people killed in the attacks, but also of the bravery and heroism of the first responders, many of whom gave their lives to save others.
