Vancouver is proposing to update its casino and turn it into an entertainment magnet for locals and out-of-towners looking for fun. Attaching a casino, restaurants and retail opportunities to B.C. Place would make the venue that much more attractive to home or boat shows booking it and the visitors they’re targeting.
BCLC is projecting visits to a larger Edgewater to climb to 42,000 a week from the current 28,000, with gross revenues as high as $270 million, up from $120 million.
