Enjoy some of BC’s best food and beer at Fort Langley National Historic Site in May. Matching the fort’s pioneering history with the pioneering spirit of local craft brewers, a new beer festival is set to take place.

The Fort Langley Beer + Food Festival was dreamt up by Trading Post Brewing Company to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday this year. In addition to Langley’s own Trading Post, the following breweries are on the roster:

  • Field House Brewing Co. (Abbotsford)
  • Mission Springs Brewing Company (Mission)
  • Hathi Brewing Co. (Abbotsford)
  • Moody Ales (Port Moody)
  • Twin Sails Brewing (Port Moody)
  • Yellow Dog Brewing (Port Moody)
  • KPU Brewing and Brewery Operations (Langley)
  • Ravens Brewing Company (Abbotsford)
  • Steel & Oak Brewing Co. (New Westminster)
  • Four Winds Brewing Company (Delta)
  • Chaos & Solace Craft Brewing Company (Chilliwack)
  • Old Abbey Ales (Abbotsford)
  • Parkside Brewery (Port Moody)
  • Dead Frog Brewery (Aldergrove)
  • Foamers’ Folly Brewing Co. (Pitt Meadows)
  • Central City Brewers + Distillers (Surrey)

If you need something to soak up all the beer, don’t worry — there’ll be some great local food to munch on. Find out more here.

Operating under the tagline ‘Drink Craft Beer. Eat Local Food. Celebrate History,’ there is sure to be plenty of all three at the festival. Tickets are on sale now with early-bird tickets ($5 cheaper) available until April 1st.
