It accommodates two people, has a kitchen space and Internet. It costs $90 per night. Located at 1366 Marlene Road, in Robert’s Creek (in between Gibsons and Sechelt).

While not technically a house, these little spheres hang from the trees to create a unique accommodation in the wilderness. The treehouses are a quirky way to spend a night or two for a weekend getaway.

Each sphere has a specific name to add a touch of magic to the experience. Check them out between Nanaimo and Courtenay, along the east coast of Vancouver Island.

Or if you’re looking to make the small style of living a more permanent situation—you can rent or buy a tiny house.
