Calling all frugal bride and grooms to be! Eat, drink and get married this weekend at Robson Square’s wedding event.

Love in the Square is a pop-up wedding extravaganza that allows lovers to tie the knot at a unique venue, free of charge.

The event will be returning to downtown Vancouver’s Robson Square on Sunday, February 12th.

Those looking to get hitched just have to say “I do.”

Registration begins at 10am and the ceremonies will be taking place all-day from 11am to 6pm. It will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.

To add to the ambience, there will be decorations, floral arrangements and photographers on-site.

Last year’s event was a success with over 70 couples saying their vows.

While the event is free, it’s asked to bring a $20 donation towards ‘A Wish To Wed’. The organization raises funds for those hoping to marry or renew wedding vows and are faced with a life threatening illness.

Make sure to bring a filled out wedding license that isn’t signed yet.
