Attention ladies! The Free Ladies’ Self-Defense Seminar is returning this year on Saturday, January 28th. The two seminars are being put on by DCS – Diaz Combat Sports and Thrive – Women Empowering themselves Through Self-Defense from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The latest installment of the popular free ladies’ self-defense seminar aims to provide basic self-defense knowledge and confidence.
Participants can expect to learn the ABCs of self-defense, your basic legal rights during a confrontation and essential physical self-defense techniques. Due to the immense popularity of the event, confirmation messages will be sent to each individual that has clicked ‘going’ on the event’s Facebook page by Thursday, January 26th.

Unfortunately, only the first 100 individuals to respond will have a spot saved for the event.

Thrive is a free community program run by DCS and looks to equip women with the basic ability to protect themselves in dangerous situations. To raise money for the program, they will be selling Thrive t-shirts at the seminar for $10.

After the conclusion of the seminar, there will a party celebrating the opening of the new extension to the gym. It’s an open house so everyone is welcome to attend.
