Mount Seymour’s popular ladies night is back again beginning January 23rd. Previously known as “Shred for the Cure”, the event supports The Bloom Group, a local non-profit organization that helps the most vulnerable citizens of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
“Since 1961, The Bloom Group has led many of our community’s most progressive social services to reduce homelessness, provide end-of-life care for individuals with mental health challenges and addictions, ensure women-led families in crisis can stay together as they rebuild their lives, and much more”.
Every Monday from January 23rd to March 27th, ladies pay a $10 donation to ski and ride from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Tickets are available to be purchased at Guest Services and rental packages will be sold in the Alpine Activity Centre.
Men are also encouraged to attend. Lift tickets for men are $33 between the period of 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
In addition, on some nights there will be a women’s park jam with music and prizes. This will take place from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
