A white Christmas is looking more likely after all. Another snowfall is expected for this weekend in Metro Vancouver.

The snow is set to fall on Saturday night and continue on through Sunday. The snow will gradually shift to rain as Sunday night goes on.

A recent weather report states the Arctic air that has been with us over the last couple weeks will be pushed out by a milder Pacific air.

Higher amounts of snowfall are expected inland and over higher terrain.

The rain will continue Monday morning, which may cause some flooding.

During the change there will be a risk of freezing rain for the Fraser Valley, Howe Sound, and inland communities of Vancouver Island including Port Alberni.

Let’s just hope people are still able to travel safely and Alex Fraser Bridge isn’t shut down again.
