Who needs a pool when you have white fluffy snow?
Although the snow put a damper on some people’s day this past week, SFU turned the snow into a swimming pool – literally.
Well, they treated it like one at least.
The Simon Fraser University Swim Team took the opportunity to have a friendly snow-swim challenge, where two individual teams raced in the snow by “swimming” typical competitive strokes.
Members from both teams raced back and forth, tagging each other in and snow-swimming different strokes throughout the challenge.
Ultimately, Team Two took the ‘W’, but cheating may have been involved.
