The Vancouver Public Library’s regular book sales are a fantastic place to pick up a bargain, and luckily for us, the next installment is taking place from 1st to 3rd December. That’s right, it’s the perfect opportunity to do some Christmas gift shopping — whether that’s for friends, relatives or yourself. Hey, you can never have too many books. After the last sale, I came home with seven books for just $7.
Amassing books at a rate of knots can be an expensive habit, so this sale offers a chance to be a little kinder to your bank balance.
As on other occasions, books at the VPL’s Christmas Book Sale will be dancing-with-joy cheap, starting at 65 cents and reaching the not-exactly astronomical heights of $2.50. You can’t say fairer than that, can you? Below is a detailed list of how books will be priced.
If this sort of thing floats your boat, make sure to keep an eye on the Friends of the Vancouver Public Library‘s website and social media. That way, you can stay up-to-date with the book sales and various other events put on by the Friends throughout the year.
If (for some bizarre, inexplicable reason) you actually have surplus books and want to get rid of them, you can also make donations to the Friends and these will be used to stock future sales.
