The CP Holiday Train will be stopping all over Canada this winter and promises to bring cheer to families along the way.
The 18th edition of the CP Holiday Train hopes to raise awareness about hunger-related issues and encourages attendees at each stop to bring a food or cash donation.
Every donation received and each dollar raised will go directly towards the local food bank to help those in need within that community.
Pam Jolliffe, Interim Executive Director for Food Banks Canada, says the train has been a huge success over the past 20 years.
“For the last two decades, CP has played an integral role in raising essential food for the holidays and in raising awareness of hunger-related issues.”
The Canadian Holiday Train schedule includes stops in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and finally, British Columbia.
Mark your calendars, 604 folks! You’ll have a chance to visit the train at the following locations:

The final stop will be in Port Coquitlam at the West Coast Express Station at 2125 Kingsway. Be sure to bring healthy, nutritious food items if you plan to attend any of the shows. Every donation – big or small – makes a difference.
