Chefs Makoto Ono and Amanda Cheng have come together to create a fabulous Japanese-French fusion restaurant with an intimate dining experience. Though a small space, Mak N Ming will be a mighty force in the culinary world not only through their menu items (think, a la carte, tasting menus, and wine over cocktails), but also the fresh new look. Taking over the old Thai Star restaurant, Mak N Ming will be fully renovated and set to open very soon. Located at 1629 Yew Street, Kitsilano.
Ever had Poké? Pronounced “poh-kay”, the dish is a traditional Hawaiian sliced raw fish accompanied by other chopped ingredients and will be the star of the restaurant. Pacific Poké will be the perfect place for those of you who love to eat on the go. Opening soon at 625 Main Street, Vancouver.
