‘Tis the season for all things pumpkin!

For all of you pumpkin lovers (not Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, although we’ve got you covered there), Surrey will be hosting a spooky event that promises to give away free pumpkins by donation, but not required – to the first 1000 people to arrive at Spooktacular Newton.

Imagine what you could do with that many pumpkins!

Well, you won’t be taking home all of them for yourself. But your own pretty pumpkin can be carved, eaten, baked and more!

Aside from the pumpkin giveaway, Spooktacular Newton encourages kids to dress up in costume and ride the haunted train – if you dare!

Happening on Saturday, October 22nd, the event will include heaps of other Halloween-themed activities, including crafts, games, a petting zoo, a photo booth, face painting and so much more.

Did we mention there will be Trick-or-Treating, too? Hop from tent-to-tent and scoop up treats along 137th Street.

And if you get hungry, food trucks will be on location to satisfy you and your little monsters!

Just don’t forget your free pumpkin after all the spooky fun!

Spooktacular Newton

When: Saturday, October 22nd, 2016

Where: The Offices , 7327 137 St, Surrey

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Cost: Free – pumpkins by donation
