Liquid happiness – that’s exactly what coffee is to most people.
The warm (at times, cold) drink is a necessity for fuelling the tired, lost souls of the city who need a little extra pick-me-up before starting the day’s activities.
This Thursday, September 29th is National Coffee Day – yup, that’s really a thing – and Costa Coffee, the UK’s largest coffee chain, wants to help you celebrate by offering free, barista-style, premium coffee at select Shell stations across Canada.
Don’t be discouraged by the name. This ain’t your typical “gas station” coffee; Costa Coffee uses freshly ground, Mocha Italia beans with over 250 customizations for every coffee connoisseur. From smooth and silky lattes to Americano, flat white and hot chocolates for the faint of [caffeine] heart.
And you’ll get fresh milk in each cup – they don’t use that icky powder stuff!
Pininfarina, the same company that designs Ferrari, designed Costa Coffee’s self-serve coffee bars. Meaning, these coffee bars are far from average!
Each station will give a free coffee to the first 100 customers – so make sure to be the early bird.
