Vancouver YouTubers Get Spotlight at VIFF 2016

YouTubers, music and drinks oh my! Vancouver Web Creators Night is showcasing some of the best web videos by local filmmakers and videographers on October 3rd at Vancity Theatre. The event is part of the Late Night at VIFF Hub series which runs for eight nights between 10pm and 1am for immersive video and music experiences.

Web videos and short films have been curated for a large-screen showcase night which features a live performance by hip hop artist K!mmortal. The Vancouver-born soul-rap emcee and singer-songwriter is hot off of headlining at this year’s New Westminster Pride festival.

Christian Le Blanc – Travel and life adventurer and vlogger showcasing his best experiences

Christina Schell – Dancer, choreographer and model showcasing her best dance-on-film videos

Bradley Friesen – Helicopter pilot turned cinematographer showcasing his best scenic BC videos

IFHT Films – Funny fellows and Canadian YouTube treasures showcasing their favourite comedy videos

High on Life – World travelers and explorers showcasing their best travel and adventure compilations

Van Weddings – Local boutique showcasing their best cinematic wedding videography

Francisco Fuentes aka Birdo – Local filmmaker screening his favourite daily life visuals
