Vancouver Fringe Festival: What To Know If You Go

Vancouver Fringe Festival/FB

Vancouver Fringe Festival

The Vancouver Fringe Festival will be celebrating all things theatre in Vancouver from September 8th to the 18th.

There will be over 800 incredible performances by 90 talented artists during the 11-day festival, which will be held in none other than the artsy Granville Island.

Every artist is given a chance to perform on the Mainstage, as acts are literally selected from a hat.

Kick off the festival on September 6th with an epic opening night that includes a bit of mystery and theatre.

There will be lots of tasty appetizers from Emelle’s Catering, Dockside Restaurant and The Keg. Enjoy hand-crafted artisanal spirits from The Liberty Distillery and wine from Barefoot Wine & Bubbly. For all of the beer-lovers out there—try the ginger beer from The Great Jamaican and a cask beer from Big Rock Urban Brewery.

During the festival, there will be a Big Rock Brewery Fringe Bar that will act as the festival’s social hub; where you can meet and mingle with other theatre enthusiasts.

To cap off the festival, there will be an awards night on September 18th that recognizes the best of the best performers.
