Taking on an urban adventure of Vancouver is a hands on way to explore the concrete jungle on foot. The multi-cultural city has a lot to offer, including scenic pockets, breathtaking views, and a lot of surprises.

Greenheart TreeWalk – UBC Botanical Garden

Explore a coastal rainforest along a 310 metre-long tree top canopy walkway nearly 20 metres above the ground. The nature walk and eco-attraction hangs off of mammoth Douglas firs, cedars and grand firs and provides a bird’s eye view into the wooded environment.

Mountain ZipliningGrouse Mountain

Take a gander to the peak of Vancouver then set off at speeds that reach 80 km/hr high above the valley. Dual-line, multi-line circuit tours are available which take you across the peaks and canyons. This is the time to look down! Alternative locations also include Whistler.

Peak 2 Peak Gondola – Whistler Blackcomb

The ultimate way to get between the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains with 360 degrees of breathtaking scenic views.  The 4.4km journey is the Guinness Book of World Records-holder for the longest and highest lift system.

Trampoline Parks – Surrey, Langley, Richmond

Jump off the walls, literally. Metro Vancouver has multiple indoor trampoline and extreme air parks which combine sport, fitness and fun in one venue. Great for the gymnast in all of us.

Dirt Biking – Various locations

From Squamish to Maple Ridge, there’s plenty of tracks and trails nearby for you to kick it into gear. There’s something for everyone between the mountains, woods and lots of dirt.

Paintballing – Various locations

Indoor and outdoor paintball fields and parks are a great venue to fire away some steam. Different terrains provide different opportunities to light your friends up in paint.

Combine wakeboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding and some gymnastics as you kite and surf the wind and waves.

Escape Rooms – Various locations

The novelty of this 5-dimensional gaming activity hasn’t worn off just yet. Vancouver has an abundance of different escape room venues all with different themes and mysteries to solve and escape from.

Scuba Diving – Various locations

Locals might not be aware but beautiful British Columbia is often marketed to the world as a top scuba diving destination. With numerous diving sites around the province our waters offer diverse marine life, reefs and wrecks to explore. Diving in BC waters is a must.

You don’t have to be an 8-year-old to have a laser tag birthday party. Metro Vancouver has a variety of fun indoor laser tag facilities for the kid in all of us.

How about a little real-life Mario Kart via some drop-in go karting fun? Bring on that smell of gas and rubber!
